Children's Dentistry

Calm, unhurried dental visits for kids in Vancouver — first checkups, cleanings, sealants and fluoride, with parents welcome in the room.

A child's early dental visits shape how they feel about the dentist for years. We keep first appointments short and friendly, explain each tool before we use it, and go at your child's pace.

Baby teeth hold space for adult teeth and matter for speech and eating, so looking after them is worth the effort.

Common questions

When should my child first see a dentist?

The Canadian Dental Association recommends a first visit within six months of the first tooth appearing, or by age one.

Can I stay with my child during the visit?

Yes. Parents are welcome in the room, and for young children we encourage it.

What if my child is nervous?

That's common. We take breaks, explain each step in simple words and never rush. Sometimes the first visit is just a ride in the chair, and that's fine.

We look forward to meeting you.
