Wisdom Teeth Removal
Wisdom teeth assessment and removal in Vancouver, with clear aftercare and follow-up at Broadway & Granville Dentist.
Wisdom teeth usually arrive between the late teens and mid-twenties. When there isn't room, they can come in at an angle, stay trapped under the gum, or crowd and damage the teeth beside them.
Not every wisdom tooth has to come out. We look at position, symptoms and X-rays, and recommend removal only when it's the better choice for your health.

Common questions
Do all wisdom teeth need to be removed?
No. If they are healthy, fully erupted, positioned well and easy to clean, they can stay. We monitor them at your regular checkups.
How long is recovery?
Most people are back to normal activity in three to four days. Swelling peaks around day two and then settles.
What age is best for removal?
If removal is needed, the late teens to early twenties is often easiest because the roots are not fully formed and healing is faster.
