Cosmetic Dentistry
Teeth whitening, porcelain veneers and cosmetic bonding in Vancouver at Broadway & Granville Dentist.
Cosmetic treatment ranges from a shade or two brighter to reshaping the teeth that show when you smile. We start with what bothers you and suggest the least invasive way to change it.
Healthy teeth and gums come first. If there's decay or gum inflammation, we treat that before cosmetic work so the result lasts.

Common questions
How long does whitening last?
Typically one to three years, depending on coffee, tea, red wine and tobacco. Occasional touch-ups keep the shade.
Do veneers damage teeth?
A thin layer of enamel is usually removed so the veneer sits flush, which makes them a long-term commitment. Bonding is a more conservative alternative for small changes.
Is whitening safe for sensitive teeth?
Usually, yes. We can adjust the strength and timing, and recommend a desensitising toothpaste beforehand.
